What kind of insurance do you carry and how does that protect us?
We carry commercial general liability insurance coverage to protect you, our business and our employees from claims involving bodily injury or property damage, up to the limits of the policy. Our aggregate limit (total amount allowed in a year) is $2 million and our per occurrence limit is $1 million. Our technicians also carry workmans comp for additional coverage.
Do I need to be present when technicians are working on my property?
On most projects we don’t need to enter your home, and won’t require anyone to be present. Often, customers choose to avoid the noise. We do ask that we have access to an outlet if possible, and alternatively we can bring our own generator.
Do you require a deposit?
On insurance projects, we require the first payment from the insurance company upon receiving it. For non-insurance related work we require a 50% deposit after the contract and estimate are signed and agreed to.
How long does the typical project take to complete?
Most roofs are finished and clean in a day. Siding will typically take 3-4 days. The complexity of the project and changes in the weather can add additional time.
How do I get paid for a referral to Beacon?
Just Reach out to us! Upon a signed contract with the referral we will issue you a check in the mail.
What is your labor warranty?
Our labor warranty is for Ten years and covers any defects or loss due to our workmanship errors.
How is the labor warranty different from manufacturers warranty?
The labor warranty covers any installation errors while the manufacturer’s warranty covers any defects or issues caused with the shingle/product itself.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes we accept Visa and MasterCard payments, there is a 2.6% fee added to total amount for processing.
How do I know that you are a State Certified Roofing Contractor?
